Although I hope to work in the broadcast industry, I still maintain a love of graphic design. Check out some of my mobile and web designs below.
mobile design: the parlour
I live for ice cream, so I was excited to do an iPhone website re-design concept for “The Parlour” ice cream shop, one of my favorite places in downtown Durham. I spent weeks sketching wireframes, getting feedback from peers, trying different color schemes, and of course taking ice cream breaks for “inspiration.” Created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
web design: hogar cotui
I helped design the website for a non-profit that peers and I visited on a trip to the Dominican Republic. The non-profit was a retirement home for under-priveleged elderly in the community of Cotui. For the website design, they had a specific color scheme and logo in mind, but the rest was up to us. I was proud to be the lead photographer for the project as well. See the official website here.
web design: durham, find your cool
For my masters thesis, I designed, coded, and created 100% of this website: Durham Find Your Cool. The website was based off of a Zurb Foundation framework which I altered for the desired effect. Check it out here.
